I heard a rumor that hurricains were no longer being made(I hope this isn't true). If they still are,I really need to know. What I wanted to know is,Can a black rifle stock be used for one? Can PPS channel it for the internals? I was thinking something similar to this pic. Not the one I'm looking at,but one similar.

Any help PPS can provide will be greatly appreciated. Even recommend a certain blank stock that will work better.
THanks,

Where did you hear that? I highly doubt it's true. You could always just paint a Sheridan rifle stock black. If you want a longer stock, you could look around for one of the compatible Sheridan pellet rifle stocks and keep the pump arm on. Otherwise, there's a guy that makes custom thumbhole stocks for KP's and Hurricanes. I think his name's Jim Massee or something like that.

I don't think PPS likes having to do very extensive work to the stocks for Hurricanes.

Craig started a nasty rumor on April 1st, but they're still made. You need to get an old style Sheridan KP or Blue Streak trigger group. I don't know if they do bedding in other stocks... It would probably depend more on the mounting of the trigger group.

Call/email the shop(or email pictures, and *then* call ;) )

Never paid attention to the date posting lol. Well I'll just call craig next week and see what we can get going and get any info that I need. You see what long work hours and lack of sleep does to a person over time lol. Thanks for the help.

Stock fitting can get expensive... Figure a days work --- $360 or so.

If it takes less time, then you will be charged less :)

It has to be a raw blank with no holes in the bottom of the stock.
