NOTE: If your marker is under a year old DO NOT perform this procedure. You WILL void your warranty. If you do not understand how to remove the valve after reading this, then you should not be working on your marker. Have a Pro do it right.
Required Tools:
Sheridan Valve tool (available at PPS)
American allen wrench set.
Remove the frame:
Removing the frame will not change the timing or function of the marker. Leave the grips on the frame.
1. Remove both front and rear screws holding the frame to the chassis.
2. Move/fold the frame over to the ram side.
3. Slide the velocity adjuster, spring guide, spring and hammer out of the lower tube.
4. Clean hammer assembly and put off to the side.
Remove Valve Assembly:
Be sure there is NO PRESSURE inside of the gun. (Pull the trigger a few times)
1. Remove the Air Passage Screw from the lower tube on the bottom the chassis. (only visible if the frame is removed)
2. Slide the square end of the tool into the brass nut holding the valve in.
3. Slide an allen wrench in the opposite end of the tool (for use as a handle)
4. Turn the tool counter clockwise to unscrew the valve nut (takes a bit of elbow grease)
5. Now slide out the valve guide, Dyna Valve (cup seal), and spring.
Oil and reverse steps for re-assembly. The ported side of the valve goes toward the barrel.
